Superficial?, Basis in modern understanding? Hmmmm. of disease, perhaps. Of the human body though, these principles seem to be very well observed in Embryology.
Two thoughts: 1. Seems like focusing on the disease will allow for oversight of the body's ability to heal and extinguish disease. Lets focus on the body and the healing powers of nature and consequently see disease cured.
2. In response to, "... understanding of disease." Remember that Homeopathy works with the assumption that Disease and the Vital force are one and the same! Not seperate...
